How should I continue Devi worship after this Yagna?

How should I continue Devi worship after this Yagna?

In this blog, you will learn about different Devi worships available on the Sadhana App.

You have read about or performed the Lalita Sahasranama Yagna and are wondering how to nurture your bond with Mother Divine. How can you adore and pray to her? Is there a roadmap? Yes, there is.

Sadhana App offers many immersive, guided rituals to deepen your bond with Devi Ma.

Three temples are dedicated to female deities on the app: Golden Temple (Ma Laxmi), Kadamba Forest (Ma Durga), and Vedic Forest (Ma Gayatri).

Inside each temple, five rituals are available. Let’s take a quick sneak peek.

Regular Rituals

Japa: The crux of mantra sadhana, Japa involves repeated chanting of a mantra to create a bond with your deity. Mantras are intricate arrangements of words and sounds that positively impact our body and mind. On the Sadhana App, you can perform three types of  Devi japas with awakened mantras. In addition, you can read the meaning of the mantras, listen to the mantra audio, or chant alone if you so wish.

Nitya Puja: Through Nitya Puja, you can welcome and worship Devi Ma every day with various offerings, such as incense, naivedyam, meals, and betel nuts. The app offers three types of Nitya Pujas: panchopchara (with 5 offerings), shodashopchara (with 16 offerings), and chatur vinshati (with 24 offerings).

Yagna: Through yagna, you can invoke your deity by making offerings to the sacred fire alongside Vedic chanting. It is a way of expressing gratitude to the divine and removing negativity from within and without. On the App you can perform brief, medium, and elaborate yagnas (of the three Devis) with their awakened mantras.

Abhishekam: Abhishekam involves bathing the deity with various ingredients such as water, milk, honey, yogurt, ghee, turmeric, kumkum etc. It is a powerful method of offering gratitude and allowing self-purification. The app offers three types of Devi abhishekams (brief, medium, and elaborate) with different Devi chants and stotrams.

Sadhana: It is a focused spiritual practice carried out over a defined period, sometimes with a specific objective. Sadhana involves mantra chanting, nitya puja rituals, nyasa, hand locks, and yagna. In the app, you can perform three sadhana for each Devi using their awakened mantras.

Special Sadhanas:

Apart from the regular rituals, there are periods of special Devi sadhanas on the app.

Navadurga Sadhana: This powerful sadhana of nine forms of Devi Ma is available nine days and nights during the four Navaratris. During this period, you can do japa and yagna on the app.

Sri Suktam Sadhana: A Vedic sadhana of Ma Lakshmi (Sri), Sri Suktam Sadhana is the most powerful practice for invoking her grace for abundance and prosperity.

Besides these, there are several other devi pujas and rituals (as per Panchangam) that you can perform on the app. Subscribe to our monthly newsletter to be notified about this.

On the path of mantra sadhana, there are two most crucial prerequisites: faith and devotion. It takes time to foster a bond with Mother Divine. Begin by connecting with any form of Mother Divine. Make puja an inseparable part of your routine. With her grace, you would be able to see her in every Devi and other forms as well.
